Know God!

Join us each Sunday as we look at God’s plan for our lives and get to Know Him more! Sunday Mornings 9:45 am Worship Service.

Then check out the great Sunday small groups where we Find Freedom to grow closer to God and each other- discipleship and relationship! Through this process you will Discover Your Purpose and Serve together, Playing the Role God created you to play!

I have begun a season of prayer. Prayer for me personally for I want to draw closer to God. Closer than I have ever been before. The incredible part is that I can do that and God wants that too.

2 Chronicles 16:9 tells me that, “The eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts fully committed to Him.”

I am also looking for a group of people – prayer warriors – who will pray for me in this venture and who will join me in praying daily for the LebNaz Church and our leaders. Leading is a risky business. Pray that they will be protected from the evil one and that they too may draw close to God that we might lead the church well. Our mission is simple; to make Christ-like disciples. The process is simple…

1) Help people KNOW GOD: Follow Him, be like Him, walk in His

ways, love Him. We do this each week as we GATHER for Worship. 2) Help people FIND FREEDOM:

Connect with God and connect with others. Here we help people find a small group where they can GROW.

3) DISCOVER PURPOSE: Here we discover how God has gifted us, how He has created us, how we can fulfill His purpose for our lives.

this by finding our place of service. We serve others in the church and those outside of the church.

We are in the Season of Lent. Lent is a season of preparation before Easter. A 40-day period of prayer, repentance, and preparation beginning on Ash Wednesday and leading up to Easter which is called Pascha (Greek, Latin) RESURRECTION SUNDAY!!!

April 12 we will be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead after His crucifixion where He paid the price for MY SINS. Now, because He died and rose again, I am set free and cleansed from all my sins!!! Whooooohoooo! In these next few weeks I will be praying for the hearts of those who need to know Jesus, His forgiveness and for those who are by faith a part of His family but not attending a church. That you and I would join together to pray boldly and then GO and ASK them to join us for a GREAT EASTER SUNDAY CELEBRATION.

Can’t believe it’s January 21, 2020! Happy New Year!! What a great start to a new year!
This past month your LebNaz Church has been a great giving church. Many Christmas gifts were given out on Christmas Eve to all the children from birth through 5th grade, some very nice gifts this year. Wow! Makes me wish I was a kid!
The stove of one of our shut-ins went kaput and was replaced by an anonymous donor from our fellowship (God knows who you are and will reward you with treasure stored up in heaven.) Good thinking!!!
The Marriage Group became aware of a homeless family (a mom, boyfriend, and kids) living in their car. They jumped into action and gave $250 to help with hotel, food and a bit more. The mom has a job but lost housing and is in process of getting back into housing as soon as possible. The Marriage Group helped them get through the crisis.
The Prime Timers Group voted to give an $80 one-time donation to meet an urgent need the Lebanon School District had. They needed apples for the backpacks for the children that are in the Weekend Backpack Food Program.
Our LebNaz congregation took an offering for Shayla Teichroeb who is on a mission trip and in need of funding. Our church raised just over $700 to get her back home safely and with some food money.
Vicki Brown, LebNaz Office Administrator, was granted a Sabbatical through the end of March for some much-needed rest and renewal to help with her overall health and well being. She has carried quite a load over this past year with my Sabbatical and hospital stint with pancreatitis. For whatever and whenever she was called on, she filled in. Now she is on break. We hope it is a good rest. Pray for her. Vick will be back April 1st (no fooling!)
Oh, I could tell you of more generosity coming from the LebNaz Church and people, but I am limited in words and space. Know that God is a good and generous God who blesses His people. God’s people at the LebNaz church are just like Him. We are all blessed to be a blessing.
