On Tuesday, the Ashes to Fire morning meditation started with this: ” Blessed are you , Sovereign God of all, to you be praise and glory forever. Open our eyes to behold your presence and strengthen our hands to do your will, that the world may rejoice and give you praise. Amen.” This has stuck with me the last few days…I keep turning back to Tuesday and reading it again to start my day. What a great and awesome way to start the day – asking the Holy Spirit to open our eyes each morning to the presence of the Sovereign God of all – Have you been meeting with Him each morning and evening for your Ashes to Fire meditations and reflections? This morning we read : ” …..my Savior and Lord, I acknowledge that all I am and all I have is yours. I pray that you will surround me with such a sense of your infinite goodness…. ” I am praying right now that your eyes are opening – that He is surrounding you with His infinite goodness – and that each of you will be committed and faithful to this Journey with Jesus that we are on through Ashes to Fire.It is an avenue to God’s transforming and life-renewing power! ~ Vicki
