Today I worked on the LebNaz ‘Watchman’s Wall’. As I read through our prayer needs I was thinking about how long we have been praying for some of the people and situations on our list. There are some serious troubles represented by those requests on our list.

God tells us in John 16:33 that trouble will come. ” I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace, In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”  I love that reminder : “take heart! I have overcome the world.”

There are times that God will deliver us from a trial, but there are also times that he simply walks with us through the trial. Isaiah 41:10 ” So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you ; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Trusting God to strengthen and uphold you means you don’t have to worry about what is ahead, you don’t have to let those trials overwhelm you because He promises He will strengthen you and uphold you. He is the God of the universe and He cares about you! He promises to always be with you!

“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
