Back to School

Home > News and Events > Back to School

Fall is fast approaching and the kid’s are back in school…and some adults I know are taking on the challenge of online college! As we get back in to the routine of school we are also fully back in to the Sunday school and small group schedules here at Lebnaz.

The goal of Sunday School is to help fulfill the commission to the church as found in Ephesians 4:11-13: “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service to the building up of the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ”.

Our desire is that each member of the body be fully equipped to carry out the work of the ministry that God has given to them. Our adult Sunday School ministry provides classes and groups in a variety of areas including: ongoing Bible book studies and there are topical studies to help address what the Bible says about honoring Christ in  life; and overview studies  which ground believers in the big picture of God’s Word.We also have Celebrate Recovery on Sunday mornings – a group for finding healing and freedom from life’s hurts and hangups.

In each of these classes our teachers seek to accomplish the following , “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15).  we encourage and foster discussion and interaction so we can learn and grow in our faith.

In our Children’s Sunday school we have great, fun and loving teachers using age-appropriate lessons of the Bible.Kids  are exploring and learning using crafts, games, scripture emphasis, music and other creative learning tools.  Our teachers are committed to helping children develop and mature in their spiritual walk with Christ.

Be here Sunday’s at 9:30 am to get connected, to grow, and to serve!
