What are you doing Sunday?
Home > Blog > What are you doing Sunday?Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Psalm 107:1
Worship is a giving, not a getting. We come to worship not to receive a blessing, get more peace, joy, etc. We worship to respond to God.
For those of you that have Facebook, I imagine you have seen the picture going around about the people in a tropical country sitting in church in water up to their knees. Nothing is keeping them from church! Nothing is keeping them from gathering to Worship their King, their Savior, their God.
Is anything keeping you from being in church?
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9
There is a saying, “Worship is our response to God’s love”. We just celebrated Easter, reminding us of the greatest expression of His love for us. Worshiping Jesus together in church on a Sunday is an important thing. It brings together God’s Word, prayer, fellowship and is a wonderful outpouring of our faith and love for Him.
What are YOUR plans for Sunday?
